Climb to Educate Season 7

On 22nd September 2023, the 7th Season of Climb to Educate trip two was flagged off by the DVC A&F Prof. Esther Magiri. This program under the Dean of Students hosts the trendy "Climb to Educate" initiative. The "Climb to Educate" initiative is not only about conquering Mount Kenya but also about imparting valuable logistical and technical knowledge and skills to the participants. Additionally, it fosters integration and open communication among its participants.

The training is not solely focused on climbing but also includes essential aspects of Wilderness Education. This includes teaching environmental ethics and practices during hiking, climbing, and camping expeditions. The program is not just about reaching the summit but also about promoting responsible outdoor practices.

The activities encompass both single-day excursions and extended days in the wilderness. This diverse range of experiences would provide a holistic understanding of outdoor adventures.
